Enhancing Education in Oxfordshire
This project is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of schools, especially those in underfunded areas and regions of deprivation. Supporting education and training and employability opportunities through which young people can fulfil their potential. We focus on the following key areas:
Nursery, Primary, and Secondary State Schools:
- Providing resources and support to ensure all children have access to quality education from an early age through their teenage years.
Support for PTAs (Parent-Teacher Associations):
- Collaborating with PTAs to help raise funds for essential classroom equipment and educational materials.
Outdoor Education and Forest Schools:
- Promoting outdoor learning experiences through forest schools, enhancing students’ connection to nature and hands-on learning.
Breakfast Clubs:
- Supporting the establishment and maintenance of breakfast clubs to ensure children start their day with a nutritious meal, aiding their concentration and learning capabilities.
Trauma-Informed Support:
- Assisting schools that provide specialised support for children affected by childhood trauma, ensuring they receive the care and attention needed to thrive academically and emotionally.
Charities offering in-house training:
- Programs that specifically focus on transforming the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Aiming to enhance general educational skills while providing opportunities to learn additional life-enriching and employability-enhancing skills. Including vocational qualifications equipping young people to improve future career prospects.
Our mission is to award grants that will contribute towards creating a nurturing and well-equipped educational environment for every child, especially those facing significant challenges. We are always eager to hear from PTAs who are fundraising for classroom equipment or other educational needs. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in our communities.
